Reddog's Roughers, Plunk's Pack
Custody Battle Over Testaverde Settled

After submitting a complete reorganization of the Roughers team Monday night, the coach of Plunk's Pack, Scott Plunkett, strongly objected.

Mr. Wagner let go over half of his players for what this reporter overheard in the coaches office of the Reddog Roughers as, "... A complete lack of respect for their coach..." It is rumored that some of the players might have forgotten the coaches birthday; but when asked about it, the Rougher's coach commented, "It's nothin' personal. I am here to put this team over-the-top; and if it means to get rid of a few bad apples, then that's what I will do!"

Everything was going smooth with the transition between the old team and new team, until Mr. Plunkett, coach for Plunk's Pack stepped forward Tuesday afternoon about Rougher's acquisition of a new quarterback, Vinnie Testaverde of Balt. He had concerns with a prior committment from Testaverde to his team. But, Mr. Wagner, coach of the Rougher's assured us that there was no formal committment made and that was all he would comment on at this time.

I heard it was a tough battle to get Testaverde; but with the extraordinary efforts of Plunk's Agent, Arlis, and the Mr. Wagner's undefeated lawyer, I. M. Suen, the battle was short lived. However, getting the scoop on the exact specifics is next to impossible due to the confidentiality agreed to by the two coaches and the fact that the "Commish" was over heard saying, "It's all just so confusing!"

There is one thing that can be expected. The remaining season is going to be very interesting. And the only way to find out what actually the agreements were to get Testaverde will be to wait and watch the upcoming line ups throughout the remainer of the season
