Top 4 Teams Reach 35 and Tie

The HES North Wing Division Ranks came to a halt Monday night after Green Bay won the battle over Minnesota as each team scored exactly 35 points.

"There is no explanation for it." Commented Coach Wagner. "I don’t move up towards the Pack’s number one position or back down to third. I guess I should be grateful I still hold second."

No-shows made the Reddog Roughers’ Monday night more tense than usual. It all came down to Coach Christine’s Minnesota Quarterback, Brad Johnson. If he would have scored at all, the Roughers would have lost their grasp on second and any chance of the league championship. It wasn’t until the fourth quarter of that game that tied the league in knots. It was Randell Cunningham, not Johnson that reached Minnesota’s Wide Receiver, Chris Carter, that boosted Gorillas score to match that of Plunk’s Pack.

Coach Wagner stated. "All throughout the game I was hoping that Gorillas could keep the win away from the Pack in order for Coach Plunkett to be out of reach from my team. But I had no idea at that time how Minnesota’s wide Receiver was going to catch a touchdown pass without Brad Johnson."

If we take a look back at how these teams started, who would have pictured the Pack and Roughers on top?

The Pack had problems with getting more than their kicker and quarterback to score (which it seems is what is ailing Coach Muske’s team) and the Roughers sudden change in their ranks didn’t initially make them the favorites. However, now these two teams are battling to keep their first and second place seats.

It all comes down to week 15 on the battle of first and second place. With a loss to the Pack, either the Roughers or the No-shows could easily grab first place. If I were Coach Plunkett, I would watch my back.

"I believe its about time for the Papa’s to reclaim at least one victory . . . The Last Victory!" Stated Coach Wagner. "It would be even greater if they could do it next week against the Pack. I wish all coaches good luck, and may the Top Dog win!"
