"I am worried about the use of illegal
substances being used in the roughers' locker
room," commented coach of the Papa's, Lance
Robertson.
That is what Coach Robertson was heard saying
leaving his offices Thursday night. He would not
comment on this further. It could either refer to the
fact that Roughers ' irratic winning and losing
streaks, or the reason that Coach Wagner can not make
up his mind who will be on his team. That is a common
side effect of an addict.
We caught Coach Wagner of the Reddog Roughers
Tuesday night as he was making final changes to his
line-up for the Commish. "I don't know what he
(Coach Robertson) thinks he heard, but if he is not
carefull he too may be hearing from my lawyer,"
Coach Wagner jokingly added, "I still have I.M.
Suen on retainer, you know" He was very nice
about it. He even invited this reporter for drinks at
Joe's, where he is a regular there.
These two teams are set to play each other this
weekend in the HES North Wing Division. Is this just
the ramblings of two rival coaches? We will have to
see what comes of it at this week's game.
We tried to get a hold of Coach Robertson again
after work, but he had left rather quickly. It was
over heard he may be looking into rates for hiring
the D. McGill Law Practice.
We tried to contact the law offices, but could
only get a hold of the secretary, LK Wagner (any
relation to the coach of the Roughers?). She
commented that they are not currently practicing at
this time. "Ask him (Papa's Coach) what proof he
has." added Ms. Wagner.
We will leave you with a short list of teams the
Athlete's Foot(ball) Times expect to win or do very
well: Min, Ind, Was, Jck, Jets, GB, TB, Den, Oak,
NE or Buf (could be up to kicker - close game to
call), Phil, and Pitt.
