"Week 10 is about finished." Began the
Commish as he was finishing adding up scores and
cutting down opponents Thursday evening.
The final score of the infamous Pack that somehow
stole Testaverde from the Roughers' coach, Michael
Wagner, gave the newly formed Plunketts something to
bounce around about after Monday night's game against
the Cheeseheads. Coach Plunkett and his team also
stole the victory away from Coach Jennifer's team
scoring 18 to 16. It was very close.
Coach Glenn of the Gorrilas had some very good
advice for the Cheeseheads coach. She needs to quit
listening to Coach Robertson about Dallas. Coach
Glenn also added, "The only thing Troy can hit
is his coach with a punch."
However, I do not know how helpful Coach Glenn
should be, he is playing the Cheeseheads next week.
He was also quoted as saying, ". . . How the
Cheeseheads were going to feel the heat this weekend
and end up as nacho sauce for Glenn's Gorillas."
The Commish also commented on the heated
discussion on the fickleness of Coach Wagner when he
kept changing his feeling on the questionable
Testaverde ruling. All Coach Wagner had to say on the
matter was, "You can't make a fluffy souffle
without separating out the egg whites." We at
Athlete's Foot Times are still trying to figure out
if that was a quote from a recipe book or a racial
comment.
"Week ll is the final go around. One chance
at all of your opponents. For the No-Shows, can they
win 3 against the Pack. For the rest of us the series
is even and so we are all playing for bragging
rights." Commented the Commish.
I don't know how much Glenn's Gorilla's ought to
be bragging after being kicked back into 5th place
just above the Cheeseheads last week. And Plunk's
Pack won't be bragging for long when the Roughers get
a hold of them again in week thirteen playing against
Testaverde or his other Quarterback, what's-his-name.
"Dilfer has a score to settle with the Pack
for dropping him for a deal that Coach Plunkett and I
had for sharing Testaverde." stated Coach
Wagner. "I wouldn't have let a up and coming
talent like that go so easily."
And finally the answer to the question, "Did
No-Shows win beat Papa's Black-n-Blue?" You bet.
As the Commish predicted Papa's player from Kansas
City, Rison, couldn't touch the No-Shows. Coach
Robertson, only 4 points? What happened? Can he come
back?
"I would let Baby Brooke try her hand at
choosing the next line up." answered Coach
Wagner.
I hope his prediction comes true for the bedlam
match up. I would really like to see those OU sports
announcers eat their words. until next time keep
bragging and we'll keep you posted.
AFT Picks: I don't know about the rest of
you out there but my money is on the Greatest team on
earth, the Reddog Roughers. They may be fickle with a
slow start at first, but they have alot of balls
going after the Pack like they did.
