Roughers . . . Dust themselves off
. . . And Are Ready too Do it Again

The Reddog Roughers push pain to its limit and back again as they drove their score up to 48.

"It is good to see that my instincts were good to reorganize my team last week. And Dilfer turned out to be a delightful bonus." Commented Coach Wagner.

From this reporters perspective it seems that wherever Dilfer ends up he somehow force the team to go beyond their limits. While playing for the Pack not more than three weeks ago, the pack was averaging about three injuries a game. Now that Dilfer has found a new home with the Roughers, the injuries have also followed him. Luckily for Coach Wagner the injuries were not as bad as he first had thought.

"Both Quarterbacks, a running back, and a tight end had been mildly injured with are teams immortal spirit." Commented Coach Wagner. "Even though most of our players are ready to play next week, I have decided to give both our Quarterbacks a rest and bring in Warren Moon of Seattle temporarily."

The Reddog Roughers injuries included: a bruised thigh and jammed left-middle finger for Mark Brunnel, bruised ribs for Dilfer, a serious leg injury for their new tight end (Brent Jones), and a back problems for Ramont Harris.

"The Roughers have a new name." According to the Commish, "It is going to be the 'Bruised and Battered'."

Coach Wagner was happy with his teams performance this week and is very confident that he will do the same to the Pack that he has done to the Papa's that he is about to do to the Cheeseheads. But the questions are -- will his new Denver player, McCaffrey, start scoring with his two quarterbacks on leave, and will Warren Moon keep up his game?
