A few Comments from the League on the SuperBowl Rivalry

The Rivalry has been growing strong ever since our fifth issue covering this league.

Take a look at some of the comments from both sides and then email or respond to me with your vote of support or other rivarly related comment to be passed along to the coaches:

Coach Robertson: (email: Coach Robertson) "I am worried about the use of illegal substances being used in the roughers' locker room. . ."

"If this was real football we know whom the winner would be!" Comment was directed to Coach Plunkett after his snide remarks.

“I think you ought to keep writing these articles no matter what anyone thinks.” Just to go along with the AFT comments I included below.

Coach Wagner: (email: Coach Wagner) "I don't know what he (Coach Robertson) thinks he heard, but if he is not carefull he too may be hearing from my lawyer," Coach Wagner jokingly added, "I still have I.M. Suen on retainer, you know."

"I would let Baby Brooke try her hand at choosing the next line up."

"I had no doubt about my team putting the Papa's in their place (probably back to fourth). . . " This was before Papas' ended up on the bottom of the league.

“It is too bad for Coach Robertson, at least he can’t drop any lower in the league." This was right after he ended up on the bottom.

AFT: (email: JockReport) "It was over heard (Coach Robertson) may be looking into rates for hiring the D. McGill Law Practice." How ever they were not practicing at that particular time.

"The coach of the Roughers was still relieved and ecstatic at the win over Coach Robertson's Papa's."

"It has been rumored that there is a disagreement between his running back, Emmett Smith of Dallas, and Coach Robertson. This may be the reason for Emmett's poor participation by only accomplishing two touchdowns so far this season."

"There are two big games to keep track of this weekend. . . The other comes from the underside of the league between the Gorillas and the Papa’s. Can Coach Muske man handle the Papa’s. . . ?"

"And last, but almost not least we have the Papa's who caged the Gorillas in 6th place, last place in the league. It must have been the luck from that Green Bay Headline that the "Obnoxious" Cheeseheads taped to Coach Lance's Office door this afternoon. "

"The first playoffs have been decided. Roughers get to repeat their defeat of the “LOWLY” Gorillas according to Coach Wagner. However, should he really be counting the bananas before they’re peeled." This was printed before the tie happened between the Roughers and the Gorillas.

Coach Plunkett: (email: descriptionCoach Plunkett) " . . . if the momentum can carry us over this next hump (The Papas'), then we should have a shot at the whole thing."

Coach Glenn: (email: Coach Glenn) "(Coaches) need to quit listening to Coach Robertson about Dallas. . . The only thing Troy can hit is his coach with a punch."
