Coach Rachel's Rebels steal the win away from Glenn's Gorillas by only a point and still remain undefeated after Sundays games were finished.
With Glenn's players accounted for, Rebels still have Edwards, a running back from Jacksonville, to bring in even more points. Coach Rachel's Rebels only saw points from her kicker, Anderson out of Minnesota and, of course, Farve is back.
Rebels replace her Carolina Wide receiver, Muhammad, with Ismail from the same city, but failed to see a single score form her receivers. Cleeland out of New Orleans, Coach Rachel's new tight-end (not that her old one needed replacing and we are still talking football here) could not come up with a single point either.
Rebel Rousers has a tough game next week against her East Division rival and #2 in the league, Coach Christine Johnson of the No-shows. Will Denver and Jacksonville bring in enough points to offset what Minnesota and Detroit bring in for the No-shows (when they are actually playing).
F-Quiz (last week): Coach Wagner is at the bottom of the AFT-HES North Wing League, but he did actually win one game with 3X the points of this Coach. What coach lost to the Roughers?
Answer: No the answer was not Coach Muske. It was Coach Robertson of the Papa's in week three of round one in the regular season.
Coach Robertson of the Papa's have been fighting to keep off the bottom of the league since the end of round one. Their game against the No-shows this week could do this with some consequences to the Eastern Division in the rankings. A win here could knock No-shows out of the #2 slot making room for Western Division's own Pack.
Currently No-shows have jumped ahead with 18 points and all their players are accounted for. Papa's Kicker, Hollis the only one scoring out of Jacksonville this week, keep them alive with ten points. Their Quarterback out of New England needs eight points in Monday night's game to at least tie.
Papa's and the Reddog Roughers have a rematch next week to see if Coach Robertson can take the win back or become the only coach that measly Roughers have beaten twice. Which is worse being at the bottom of the league or to be beaten twice by the team at the bottom of the league?
F-Quiz: Aside from kickers what Player (RB, QB, WR, or TE) associated this league has scored the most points in the NFL from week 1 to week 7?
Coach Wagner of the Roughers was not feeling too well after Sunday's last game when their team ended up with a big goose egg, not one point. However, they have three players playing Monday night who could rake enough points to upset Plunk's Pack final score of 44.
"I am not holding my breath, but anything thing is possible. And I am hoping for another high scoring game from New England." Responded Coach Wagner. "However, I wouldn't mind losing if it means the Western Division has a chance to grab the top two rankings in the league."
The Roughers would have to have more than two touchdowns from Leon Johnson of New York and Ben Coates out of New England with a good kicking game from New England to beat the Pack. The real question is will Papa's give up a win or the Eastern Division's #2 slot?
