It seems that Tampa Bay saved it all up from last years SuperBowl and AFT Playoff and made their entrance to the 1998 preseason count. . . 30 to 7.
As you all remember Coaches, Michael Wagner and Dr. Christine Johnson, had tied for first last season and even in the playoffs.
Coach Johnson was unavailable for comment, but Coach Wagner, as usual, had this to say "If Dilfer and Tampa Bay played like this during the SuperBowl, I wouldn't be sharing the 1997 AFT championship. I sure am going to make it to the number one slot this year with or without Dilfer!"
We asked Coach Wagner if this would affect who he chose in the 1998 season and his response was, "Well, I cannot go into much detail, but it won't go unnoticed."
Just to update you on the commitments that some coaches have made to return to and retire their positions, the rumor is that Coach Jennifer Mathe has retired and will not be back according to reliable sources.
Others who have said they are looking forward to putting last years Reddog Roughers, Michael Wagner, in his place are Coach Plunkett of Plunk's Pack who was trade to sunny California and who will be utilizing the new interactive AFT website to keep updated, Coach Robertson of the Papa's who is said to have sent his quarterbacks to boot camp, Coach & Commish Glenn has agreed to return and has set the goal to stay off the bottom of the league standings, and Coach Johnson is still missing in action.
Please feel free to forward this email to other not on the list. Our goal is to have 8 teams this year instead of six. Coach Rachel will be joining us. She claims to be the brains behind the Pack's comeback last year.
You don't have to be in Stillwater or on campus, because with our new website we have an online chat which would bring you all to the draft by way of a chat room. Keep the following page bookmarked for updates!
