Rebels Get Roused!

Rebel Rousers rumored to be in negotiations about the recent suggestion by this Jock Reporter to allow last years coaches to reserve one of their players.

I brought this before the Commish last week about reserving one player from last years team. I mean there ought to be an incentive for returning coaches.

The Commish responded, "Reserving players is a usual thing in Fantasy Football. We can set any number we want. My past leagues have always saved 2."

Coach Johnson (no not Jimmy) said that she would like to keep one player but also stated, "I definitely don't think we should be able to keep ALL of our players from last year. . .My team will stand a chance at the championship! My strategy is to get a lot of advice. . . "

"I agree that keeping one player would be cool!" Coach Robertson said standing on his desk dancing. I wonder which player he will keep K. Stewart or D. Sanders.

Some coaches had a problem with being able to keep one of their past players. Coach Plunkett has not been heard from since we brought this to his attention. Of course, he may be the only one of the coaches looking forward to a whole new roster.

Our new Rebel Rouser Coach stated, "Maybe I should rethink this whole thing....If you guys start out with one of your favorites from last year, then that makes my list of favorites shorter by 5 players!"

She went on and on and on and on to say, "What matters is that you treat me like all the other coaches! In other words, if I don't get a good offer like you guys are, then I'm going to cry and whine . . . What special thing are you going to offer the new guy?"

After reading that long, long email from Coach Rachel, I immediately got on the phone to Plunkett and his agent, Arlis. I have still not heard from them.

However, Coach Wagner surprisingly summed up the situation with this piece of wisdom, "Okay, since she (Coach Rachel) is an only new coach, how fair is it that we get to keep one of our old players?"
