It's about that time again where the best league, which has the best teams, gather to pick the very best players.
With most of the coaches reporting in, the draft has been chosen to be on Monday, August 31st at 6:30p.m. or 4:30p.m. Western Time (I made a mistake in the last issue of putting EST).
Coach Johnson said, "I have it on my calendar. . . " She put it very well when she added, ". . . that is a good start for the No-Shows."
"See you in the chat room," commented Coach Plunkett. He will be using the AFT chat room located on the Internet (www.ionet.net/~warwick). In California the draft time will be 4:30p.m.
The draft will be at Commissioner Glenn's house (get direction's from Glenn Muske or go to the chatroom). We will have Lasagna cooked by Coach Wagner unless there are objections. We still need drinks and snacks. I don't know what are virtual fans and coach in California will be having, but that will be the first thing we ask before we start the draft so be ready.
The rule of keeping one player for last year still stands and Coach Rachel has gotten first pick in the draft.
Another Rebel Rouser Fan and experienced Fantasy Football coach exclaimed, "I have played Fantasy Football for many years and have NEVER heard of anyone being able to reserve a player! Go Rachel!"
The Rebel Rousers fans have shown more support than the Pack's Plunk-etts and the short-lived Pom-Pom Poodles of the Reddog Roughers put together. What would be a good name for the Rebel Rousers fans?
Coach Wagner said, "I am all for fans cheering for the teams. It makes my Rougher's work harder. I wish more of the teams had fans to cheer for them. Then the roughers would be unstoppable!"
Until the Draft on Monday, 31st at 6:30p.m. CST (4:30p.m. PST), I am signing off!
