Pack Back on Top

Plunk's Pack round up the Kowboys, pass the Farfegnugen on the road to victory and remains #1 for two straight weeks.

Last week's report did not show the correct rankings for the top two teams of the AFT League. Commissioner Miguel forgot to double check the highest cumulative score between Coach Plunkett and Coach Giles. However, Plunkett never mentioned a thing and kept quiet.

"A win at the end is all that really matters." Commented Coach Plunkett "In the greater realm of things - it really doesn't make much difference."

For the last two years, Coach Plunkett kept his Pack at the top of the league only to be shot down in the playoffs both years by Coach Wagner's former team of ultimate underdogs, the Reddog Roughers. This year Coach Plunkett's team may even make it to the Suberbowl. Being in the Eastern division this year, Coach Wagner's Federalies will not have the opportunity to play Plunk's Pack in the playoffs.

Speaking of Coach Wagner and his late blooming league, it seems his annual midseason replacement has paid off yet again as he scores more than double than his opponent, Coach Robertson's Papas.

"What a birthday present!" Stated Coach Wagner whose 29th birthday is today "I think this exact same thing happened last year at the same time. I am not too worried. My coaching and trading skills have not let me end the season at the bottom."

Freaks & Facts: Coach Wagner Commissioner Miguel, Bill Easly, Johnny B. Goode and JockReport all share the same birthday. Coincidence?

Coach Giles shows no mercy to his significant other as his German superiority tames the WildCats on the field.

Coach Lori's Mamas lose grasp of third place behind Pack and Farfegnugen as they tie Coach Rachel's Rebel Rousers. The Mamas still remain above the Rebels in the rankings as Coach Rachel keeps falling closer and closer to the Fierce Federalies.

This tie give the Papas the boost they needed to steal third. There has not been a male majority leading this league in quite awhile. Are the female coaches feeling the pressure of this male dominated sport? Who is getting whipped now Coach Rachel?

Here are a list of the rankings going into week 8:

Pack (6-1-0)
Farfegnugens (6-1-0)
