Plunk's Pack Secures #1 Slot in Western Division
Coach Plunkett has had a great season this year. His most
recent acquisitions from St. Louis, Bruce and Warner, really helped him
to retain his dominance in the Western Division and the AFT League.
Coach Plunkett's favorite Pupil, Coach Rachel, helps grab
the #1 ranking in the AFT Fantasy Football for the Pack as her players
dominate on field. The last win of the Rebels was in week 6 when they
crushed the Wildcats.
"I just have not had time to pay much attention the season,"
claims Coach Rachel.
It seems that Coach Rachel was strategically waiting for
her comeback when it could help her divisional and significant mate the
most. Coach Wagner, a former Western division colleague, states,
"Hey, The AFT Western Division has always watched out for
each other. Last year 'Unfettered in the West' would do anything to stay
a head of the 'Coupled in the East'."
The Western Division has had a hard time with battling for
domination in the AFT League with the newest teams, Farfegnugen and Mamas.
These two teams are still battling for the #1 slot in the West.
The Eastern Division still remains the favorite with their
3 wins over the West measly 2 wins. The battle between the Eastern and
Western Division has been fierce. They have tied 5 times this season.
The now Eastern Coach Wagner and his Federalies barely walk
away with a win over Kev's Kowboys.
"I hope she [Kevin] doesn't take it too personally. I needed
this win as a practice for the playoffs win I make it to the Divisional
championships and crush her division mate, the Pack their Plunk-ett's
little hearts."
The Mama's didn't have much luck without Emmett Smith of
Dallas against the Wildcats Minnesota players, Jeff George and Moss. Jeff
George completed 4 touchdown passes and has to be Coach Christine's best
decision in three years.
Coach Plunkett may not have to worry about staying alive
in the playoffs, but the eastern divisional #1 slot is yet to be undecided.
Coach Lori of the Mamas is only two wins away from being
number one. However, the Mamas still have to keep showin their dominance
to Kev's Kowboys and The Rebels.
The Rebels are starting to show some sort of life late in
the season. The other thing to be decided is wil the Federalies finally
see anything but last place, or if Coach Robertson's Papas players will
start putting some points on the board like they did early in the season.
This reporter has made his picks for the playoffs and AFT
Superbowl. I believe that if the Mamas can make it past the Coach of the
Ultimate Underdogs of 1998 then she will also end up in the Superbowl
with no one other than the Papas of the Western Division.
From past experience of Coach Plunkett in the playoffs,
I believe that the Pack will give up the Divisional title and a chance
at the AFT Superbowl title to Coach Robertson whose team has been a little
more consistent than Kev's Kowboys.
The Winner's of the Mamas and the Papas Superbowl will go
on to the Millennium Championships with the Rebels, Wildcats, and Federalies.
And who knows what that will bring. . . probably a three-way tie. There
is only one way to find out. You'll have to keep glued to the AFT Website
and LISTSERVs for the latest!
